South African Micro Business Awards (SAMBA) Official Launch and Opening of 2025 Applications

Johannesburg, South Africa – July 2, 2024 – The South African Micro Business Awards (SAMBA) Program is thrilled to announce the official launch and opening of applications for its 2025 edition. This prestigious program, dedicated to recognizing and fostering the hard work and dedication of informal businesses across South Africa, is now accepting applications from eligible candidates.

Established to acknowledge and support the diligence of the informal economy, the SAMBA Program stands as a cornerstone in the development of South African micro-enterprises. By celebrating the contributions of these small businesses, SAMBA 2025 aims to facilitate a robust economy and a sustainable future for all.

Eligibility and Benefits:

Informal businesses from all provinces across all sectors, including youth entrepreneurs, women entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs with disabilities, and non-profit organizations (NPOs), are encouraged to apply. SAMBA 2025 offers numerous benefits to participants, including:

Applications for SAMBA 2025 open on July 1, 2024. With the main Launch of the awards scheduled to take place on July 4, 2024, from 10h00, at the Wembley Sports Stadium, in Turffontein, Johannesburg.
