IEDF supports OTRED (Organisation for Township and Rural Economic Development) prestigious launch event at Soweto Theatre.

Soweto, Gauteng – 23 May 2024:  The vibrant Soweto Theatre came alive on 23 May 2024, hosting the much-anticipated launch of OTRED (Organisation for Township and Rural Economic Development). The event marked a significant milestone for the organization, celebrated with grandeur and attended by a diverse array of esteemed guests and partners.

The launch attracted notable figures, including representatives from the government, corporate sector, various organizations, royal houses, clergy, informal trader associations, and the arts and culture sector. Among the special guests were members of SA Royalty, further elevating the prestige of the occasion.

Eight distinguished guest speakers graced the event, offering their insights and support. Among them was the Deputy President of the Informal Economy Development Forum (IEDF) South Africa, Ms. Dineo Setsetse, whose address captivated the audience with her vision for economic empowerment and development.
