The IEDF Grow Programme puts Gauteng to the Challenge

The Informal Economy Development Forum announces the launch of their Gauteng Grow Challenge with national partners, e-LearnSA, ABSA Bank, Southern African International Trade-Exhibition (SAITEX) and AVBOB taking place on the 21st & 22nd June 2023.

The Grow Challenge boasts with 200 fully inducted Gauteng Entrepreneurs, ready to take that Bold step.

Having good products and services will certainly let your business look good, but it does not necessarily mean that it will sell in the market. It takes consistent actions, discipline and a fine-tuned process to deliver results.

The IEDF Grow Challenge has THE SOLUTION for your sleepless nights.

Here is what we have planned:

An insanely impactful 5-week Challenge jam packed with:

2 Days of focused Face-to-face training sessions covering Branding, Marketing and Business Finance Education

  • 4 Weeks of Entrepreneurship Readiness e-Learning
  • Engaging webinars with Entrepreneurs thirsty to transform lives
  • Social media marketing support and communication
  • Continuous monitoring and support to each business through motivational messages, reminders about the obstacles and provided tips for successful completion and interpretation.
  • Networking opportunities
  • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) – Giving your gift of time and skill to a community cause is a critical pillar in business.

Gauging from the experience of entrepreneurs in last month’s Cape Town Grow Challenge, there will be days when entrepreneurs will question their sanity for taking this step. It will be at that beautiful moment that the IEDF will remind them of the number of lives they will transform, the jobs they will create and most importantly: THE MONEY THEY WILL MAKE.

In the words of our Chairperson and Visionary Mr David Venter

“ Always know why you do what you do; let your purpose guide you to be the best version of yourself”
