Informal Economy Development Forum joins forces with Legal-Aid South Africa in providing free legal services to qualifying IEDF members.

The Informal Economy Development Forum is the recognized national membership body representing over 3 million informal Economy workers across South Africa.

A meeting was held between Legal-Aid South Africa and the Informal Economy Development Forum on the 5th of April 2023, based on the need for affordable legal assistance to the informal economy.

Legal services offered by Legal-Aid South Africa, includes, Consumer Issues, Contract Law, Criminal Offences, and any other case where your rights have been violated. In assistance to the Informal Sector, the IEDF and Legal-Aid South Africa have joined in a principle agreement to be the legal support to qualifying IEDF members.
