The CCMA and IEDF’s journey to develop sustainable learning interventions.
As the world changes, market, and business needs change. More people embark on new ventures to be able to make a living and thus choose an informal business to be the ideal starting point. Most of these individuals do not have the basic understanding of how to run Human Resource Processes within their business as their primary objective is the need to survive on a daily basis.
The partnership between the CCMA and the IEDF created a Labour Law conscious environment to support our members (both employers and employees) in their pursuit towards upholding the right to fair labour practices within South Africa. These training programmes are delivered by means of Live Online Classroom Sessions to all IEDF members on a monthly basis.

The CCMA is there for the employee and the employer. Business Owner-February 2023
Response from a participant at our training sessions: Managing misconduct-related discipline in the workplace.
What did you benefit from and why?
I am a one-man business and the main reason why I have not employed many people was because I did not understand what to do when someone uses foul language or steal in my business. Business Owner- February 2023
