Bloom confidently business seminar for entrepreneurs with disabilities.

Cape Town: South Africa observes the Disability Awareness Month from 03 November – 03 December. This culminates with the International Disability Day on Saturday, 03 December. In commemorating this day, the NFI will be hosting the Bloom Confidently Business Seminar for differently abled entrepreneurs in partnership with the Informal Economy Development Forum (IEDF), and the Small Enterprise Finance Agency (SEFA). Hosted by the City of Cape Town at the Saal Woodstock Hall, 31 Plein Street, Woodstock; the event is scheduled to start at 10:00.

The business seminar will equip disabled entrepreneurs with the information they need to run successful businesses in the following:

• Assist aspirant entrepreneurs to articulate their business concept and vision, as well as to chart a way to establishing thriving businesses.

• Assist start-up businesses to be compliant and to access markets.

• Assist established businesses to grow and scale their businesses, and to access funding.

• To expose disabled entrepreneurs to available opportunities and business support and funding entities.

• To encourage and foster a broader dialogue to promote inclusion and networking between the private sector and a community is largely unseen, unheard, and marginalised.


The NFI is a non-profit organisation that inspires, empowers, and motivates women, youth and people who are differently abled. The institution advocates and promotes for the advancement of human rights and social justice. The NFI offers skills development training, mentorship, coaching, counselling, as well as storytelling.
