Christian Business Impact (CBI) had their official launch on Saturday 5th November 2022 at The Love Church, in the heart of Bellville, Cape Town. The Christian Business conference started off with a praise and worship session, followed by a power packed line up of speakers. Speakers were David Venter (Chairman of IEDF), Riana Prins (FNB Provincial head of CSI), Cole Davids (CEO of Pillar 5 Group) and Michelle Links (Chairman of TLC Love Foundation). We had close to 200 registrations, excluding vendors.

The vendors were Cell C, FNB, IEDF and TLC Love Foundation. We were blessed to be in a room full of wisdom, experience and talent, that we could just draw from. Each speakers’ presentation was so transparent and relatable, as they shared their life experiences in their personal lives and business. The atmosphere was rich with excitement, the expectation levels were high, ready to explore this new forum – CBI. A diverse number of Christian businesses were present. Some of the feedback comments were “I have never been to a Christian Business Conference of this kind.”, “We believe it is time for this type of collaboration.” During the break, the attendees had an opportunity to engage with the speakers, as well as the vendors. There was a synergy in the room, networking, new project collaborations developed. The world-renowned, “My African Queen” Vicky Sampson ministered in song that just stirred the atmosphere. Rochelle Pillay (IEDF National Manager Enterprise and supplier Development) facilitated the panel discussion.

The following 5 speakers formed part of the panellist;- Notukela Makohliso, Sisanda Dlulane, Charlene Ainslie, Sanet Neethling and Vicky Sampson. The audience had the opportunity to ask them some business and life related questions.

Once again, their personal stories inspired and empowered us to dream again and never to give up. The conference ended off with a power word by Apostle Werner Links (Chairman of CBI). His word stirred the faith of the entrepreneurs in the room as he gave a Biblical perspective of Kingdom Business.

He shared on character in business, faith in business and supporting Kingdom Businesses and raising up Christian entrepreneurs. Our faith was stirred to dream again.
