IEDF collaborates with Atlas Foundation on development in township sports

The Atlas Foundation is an international children’s charity which uses the platform of rugby coaching to reach children and communities in great need. Founded by the former England player, Jason Leonard OBE, the Atlas Foundation enjoys exceptional support from iconic rugby legends around the world.  Atlas

South Africa was formally established as a PBO 4 years ago, and today has championed several key initiatives around SA reinforcing the pillar stones of rugby, education, girl empowerment, nutrition, and well-being.

The IEDF is therefore proud to be involved in this venture, and to be part of building a healthy and fit generation.

David Venter, the Chairperson eluded to the following “Like culture and art, recreation and sports activities play an important role in communities.  The benefits include improving the health and well-being of individuals, contributing to the empowerment of individuals and promoting the development of inclusive communities “

The IEDF will follow the success of the brilliant talent identified with huge interest and assist wherever it is needed. The IEDF is excited to see another Siya Kolisi rise from the difficult circumstances around us .
